Accessing your Account from Home

Services offered include viewing your items out list, placing reserves, and renewing your books.

  1. You will need to contact the Library by phone at (250) 364-1731 or in person to set up your PIN number, if you have not already been given this information.
  2. Follow the link to the Library Catalogue and then click on the green "Login" icon.

  3. Type in your last name or your library card number (without inputting any spaces), followed by your PIN number (that you have been given from the Library staff).
How to Renew Your Books:
  1. Click the "Renewals" icon.
  2. Select the books that you want to renew by clicking on the checkboxes to the left of the books. If the book is already overdue (indicated in a red font), you will also need to check the box that says "Renew overdue items".
  3. Click "Renew selected items".
  4. The result is the screen that says Step 2. This is a preliminary result stating "Items to be renewed". If someone has a reserve on the item or you have already renewed the item the maximum number of times, a message will be displayed indicating such and the item will not be renewed.
  5. Important: In order for your renewal to be processed, click on the green "Renew" icon.
  6. If your renewal has been successful, the following message will be displayed: "Items have been renewed".
  7. When you are ready to logout, click on the red "Logout" icon. Then click on "Yes, logout and delete my session".
